Here in Texas, its 30 days and $1000. think about this, how does a 10,000 fine and/ or 5 years imprisonment sound?

Hawks requrire a nice big open area to make a kill - they will not swoop down around poles and other things that can hurt them. All your aunt needs to do is simply ask other people who have owned chickens, geese and ducks what they used to keep the hawks out. Just ask at the feed store or ask other farmers.
