I am looking to spend 0 – ,000 on a new shotgun. I am looking for an over-under 20 ga. What brand and model is the best in that price range?

Consider a Stoeger over under…. Pay no mind to folks that put these shotguns down… yeah yeah they surely aren’t as nice as a Ruger Red label…. But they don’t cost $1500- to $2000 either….
On a budget the Stoeger is a perfectly fine shotgun… They are decently reliable and fun to shoot… I bought one second hand last year, used it a few times and thought it was a decent shotgun… Then a pal bugged me to no end to purchase it so I let it go…. I thought it was a decent value and my buddy loves it…. Consider one…

Remington 870.
[ADD] Sorry, failed to read the details. I have absolutely no idea about over-unders or 20 gauges. My bad.

you’r going to have a hard time finding a good o/u for less than a thousand. id say save your money . stoger makes cheap over unders, but i’v heard nothing good about them.

There are many made in this range but, they are not the best guns. Add a few dollars and get one like below.
Ruger Red Label or a CZ
Many good ones start at 2k and go up……..up….up…..
I would go with a Remington 1100 or 1187 unless you have to have a o/u.

O/U shotguns start at around $1,500 and most sell for $2,000-$3,000. And then mos are 12 gauge. I have no idea what to reccomend besides look at something else.

for that price all you can get is and old beat up one or a mossberg and that’s the same thing

Not a lot of money to spend on an over/under. Take a look at CZ shotguns, they are well-made and resonably priced.
