What is the best shotgun shell to use when you are duck hunting, shot size, length, etc.?

What is the best brand name, shot size, length, etc. for your money.

    I use #3 steelshot in 3 and 3.5 inch length. It is a good all-around size in case you get a high flier or some geese come in. You should run a few different brands though your gun to see which one works best. My 870 will not cycle Kent shells, but it works great with Winchester. I had another 870 which was the opposite.

    Then other than that, what does your shotgun like

    my duck gun hates Winchester loves Federal

    my quail gun is just the reverse

    Bismouth N04 shot. Use the correct length for your chambers.

    As a guide I like Rimington 2 3/4" to 3" #4 steel. The 3" for those hard to reach high fliers.

    Every year I buy two cases of PMC #2 steel, one case of 3 inch for ducks, and one case 3.5 for goose. Luckily with my Super black eagle I’m able to eject one load and drop in a 3.5.
