In the video below, a man was shot with a shotgun. What shotgun ammo do you think was used?

I remember this vid. That guy was shot by a 12 gauge shell loaded with rubber bullets used in riot controls. I can not recall if he lived or not though. Wait.. I think I saw this clip on one of the Faces of Death series… But I could be wrong.
PS: I am certain he got hit by rubber bullets.

Looks like any typical 12ga hit. I doubt it was a slug because it didn’t go through him but could be any type of shot.

since most departments use a 12 gauge, I would say 00 buck shot. But at that range it really doesn’t matter as the shot charge does not have any time to disperse.

Fake……
If that was real he would have dropped dead on the spot and not moved and rolled around for a few moments…. Buckshot or slugs at that close range would have dropped him like a sack of potatoes and he would have been instantly unconscious……

It looks like #6 or #4…00 buck will kill him and push him back and birdshot will not casue so much blood….

It wasn’t buckshot or slugs and to to respondent that stated that buckshot will throw you back, you need to stop watching tv.
Simple answer, at that range it could be rubber pellets which can be lethal at that distance. Otherwise, probably #7-8 birdshot.

No way to tell, and it could be one of the non-lethal rounds, or something small. The guy who said birdshot wouldn’t be that bloody needs to go to work with me sometime (emergency medicine). Some of the ugliest wounds I’ve seen were with 7 1/2 shot, which can darned near amputate a limb at close range.

I agree with the poster who stated rubber pellets. Rubber bullets are used in shotguns by the police for riot control. At that range even a rubber bullet can induce a fatal or near-fatal injury. The way he dropped I’d say it was loaded with rubber pellets.
