What's required to buy a Mossberg 590A1 in Minnesota?

Most if not all shotguns here you just need to be 18, not mentally unstable and have money. This one is used by the military so I was wondering if there were any special circumstances in purchasing one new from a gun store.

Mossberg 590A1?…. Nice shotgun…..
There are no special provisions to buy one — You do not need to explain or tell the store clerk why you want one…..
Be 18, have an ID and no felony history and you all set….
If asked — Tell him your a collector – or want it because its the best (which I might add it is)…..

A clean background, an ID, and money. Same as anywhere.
Happy shooting!

The first 2 are correct. Just wanted to add that because the military used it makes no difference. The only difference between the 590 and the 590A1 is metal trigger guard, metal safety, and thicker barrell on 590A1. I’d love to have one myself. Last Christams I had a 590 mariner picked out, went to buy it, and it was gone! I got the 930SPX that just arrived. I love the 930SPX, but still want a 590 or 590A1.
