Remington makes some great shotguns.
Everyone seems to agree that the Remington 870 is the best pump-action going. So, do you have deep pockets and want a classy looking shotgun? No problem, the Remington Custom Shop can make you a gun with engraving and gold inlays at any price range you can possibly afford.

The best will cause some argument, but Purdey would be one of them. On the used gun market, you can get a Purdey Best starting as low as about $60,000 if you shop carefully.
Best guns typically are bespoke; i.e., made for the individual shooter, as an individual, so there’s no "model" name for many of them.
If you’d like to scale back to something more affordable, one of the more popular sellers is the AyA #2.

most are dependable now days, the quality factor is of concern to me thats a 75 year old peice good started for kid 20 ga pump most brands , i prefer real wood shooters from early 50s thru 60s pre _stamped grips worn smooth, others plastic and stainless all matter of beauty in eye of beholder, tell pop to hit the local pawn shops never cantell what he may find,
