ANY TYPE OF RIFLE/SHOTGUN! BEST FOR MY PRICE RANGE?
I have about 00 to spend on 2 guns I want a shotgun and a rifle i could use for hunting. Honestly i want a good hunting gun, yet also a badass gun. SO not really any thing bolt action. AND i would also preferbly want a semi auto shotgun. My dad has a russian SAIGA and i like it alot. SO hit me up! I want somthing that wouldnt blow a deer in a million peices but yet take a boar down

I know you said you want two guns. But if your dad will let you use his saiga for a while, based on what your description says, I think you would like the Remington R25 .280 (7mm). The only problem is it’s going to take up all your money. I believe a .270 would be a good round for deer and boar both, but since you want something ‘badass’ the little extra pop in the 280 would suit you and be good on the boar.
I would get a Browning BAR, it’s chambered in all those rounds, but its a hunting rifle. I think you’d want that Remington R25 280.

I would recommend a Remington 700 in a calibre of your choice and a Remington SPR453 (Baikal MP153) in 12 gauge.

You can get a mossberg 500 for $350, maybe less than that. As for a rifle I was actually thinking of getting a remington 700 in .270 myself.

Nothing not bad ass about a bolt action. Ask the real snipers. Id get a Savage bolt action rifle and a mossberg 500,535,or 835 or Remington 870.I prefer mossberg
The Saiga will do fine if thats what you like. Try to get one in a 308.
When it comes to shotguns nothing hits harder than a single shot or a pump.Id go the pump round.Sem-Auto shotguns have less recoil but takes some of the thump out of the projectile your using(slug, buckshot, birdshot etc).Id look into the Mossberg 590A1 if you want a tacticle style.

the civilian marksmanship program is selling service grade M1 garands for only $600. it would make a decent hunting rifle, a little heavy but it’s a semi-auto firing a .30/06 round! AND you buy them through the mail! you also get the nostalgia of using a rifle that was used in WWII or Korea! that’s pretty badass in my book!
that leaves you with $500 to spare which you can put toward that saiga 12. the CMP also takes 2+ months to ship which gives you like 3 months to save up some more money to buy ammo and maybe an adjustable gas plug for your M1.
