Whats the best shotgun?

   In my opinion the Remington 870 12 gauge is dollar for dollar the best shotgun ever made.

   I say the Remington 870. It’s practically indestructible and won’t break the bank. New on sale probably $220. Get a rifled barrel and you’re set for anything.

   Rem 870.

   A close (VERY close) second would be the Mossberg 500 or 590.

   Both are powerful, reliable, and modable like just about no other shotgun in the world.

   i don’t know alot about shotguns but the saiga 12 shot gun its semiauto and is built almost the same way the ak47 and other ak were so you know it extremely reliable, hope this helps.

   The Military uses the Mossberg 590 shotgun…. The Remington 870′s aren’t heavy duty enough…. Take a look here….

   I prefer either the Mossberg 500 or the Remington 870. I own two Mossbergs, so I would have to pick that between the two (but that’s just me).

   1 = Remington 12 gauge, 870 Wingmaster
   #2 = Mossberg 12 gauge, Model 500

    The USA army also uses the Benelli M4. It’s an expensive, self-defense weapon.

    You may want to consider a pump, Benelli Nova or Super Nova for your first weapon.

    You’ll notice that most people will like the Mossberg, Remingtons, etc. (and they’re all very good weapons), but don’t overlook a Benelli.
