What’s the difference between Skeet shooting and Trap shooting?

I know they are both shot with shotguns using clay pigeons.

In skeet, the shooter fires from 8 different stations at targets that cross from either direction, while in trap the shooter remains fixed in one of 5 stations at targets that fly away at different angles.

I’ve shot both and let me tell ya skeet shooting is much harder lol but their both a lot of fun…

Skeet shooting is when you have different stations to go to and shoot at. Each station has the skeet flying differently.

Trap shooting is when you have 1 trap and the skeet is thrown with in a 45 degree angle.

    I hope I helped.
