I think the barrel has to be at least 16in. long. Try gunbroker.com its kinda like ebay for guns someone probable has one on there.

minimum legal length is 18", not 16 as posted previously (16" is minimum legal for rifles). Mossberg makes an 18.5" fixed choke barrel for this gun, you can order it direct from their website. You’ll also find 20" and probably 22" barrels.

18" is the smallest legal barrel, most people find that 18 1/2" is safer and leaves no mistakes on legal length. A shotgun also has to be 27" overall to be legal. Mossberg makes lots of barrel lengths for you shotgun. Order from a gun store, or online.

18 inches, measured by dropping a dowel down the barrel marking it, and measuring the dowel, is the legal limit. This is important because for some guns the chamber is included in the barrel measurement.

You can get a shorter barrel, but you need a special tax stamp from the feds to have it.

Mossberg has an 18.5" barrel you can get separately and put on. Check Cabelas, Sportsman’s Guide, or just use google. Barrels can be ordered on-line inexpensively and delivered right to your door.

Under Federal law the shortest LEGAL shotgun barrel is 18", and the overall length of the Shotgun must be a minimum of 26"

Mossberg makes an 18.5" Improved Cylinder choked barrel in 20 gauge
