Fully automatic rifles are heavily regulated….. The permit process is a hassle, many background checks are required, they aren’t legal in many states and the cost of the rifle can easily be over $10000…….
Stick with a semi-auto rifle available in many sporting goods stores…..

Most gun stores will have semi-auto rifles. You will have to go to a Class 3 dealer to get a select fire firearm. Select fire firearms start at about $10,000 for decent ones and require a $200 tax stamp along with about a six month wait.

Forget the full auto unless you want to become a dealer of the highest class. That now requires a place of business, not your house. a background check that would get you into the FBI school at Quantico, and 200.00 a year for the lic.
Now, there are many semi autos out there you can buy without all that hassle. Where? Gun show, gun shops, retailers, gun broker.com. The list is long.
What is the primary use for this firearm? Hunting? Target? Plinking?
You have a computer, do some research.
Warning however. 40 years ago I just wanted one good handgun, one good rifle and one good shotgun. I’m down to 17 guns now. I wish I had never sold any gun I had owned, because the number would be over 50 probably.

LOL! I love the first comment… I am not gonna kill anyone…. But seriously are you asking this question? Anyone knows that you can buy a gun anywhere that sells them… LOL Find the place of your liking, go in there and fill out the application and BAM! there ya go… You might have a wait period where they will delay your request for the gun, or you might be able to walk out of the store with it that day! In Arizona, We are allowed to have concealed weapons licenses. If you have one, all you have to do is show that, and your drivers license and you walk out of the store with the gun.

STORE

Even the Walmarts around here carry Mini-14s, a great semi-auto rifle. But any gun store should have rifles.
If you really want full auto expect to drop around $10,000
So you’ve already decided you’re not going to kill anyone? I knew a girl in high school who didn’t wear her seat belt because she wasn’t going to crash her car. Too bad no one told the truck driver that.

I’m not really sure about your first words so I’m going to leave this one alone.

Stores are a good place to start. Stay away from full autos unless you are planning on openning a store of your own.

sporting good shops anthough you may need to order it if they do not have them in store/ gun shops/ local gun shows. they run from about 200- several thousand dollars. You must be a new to guns and recommend you get a 22 if you are going to learn. or a pumpshotgun of you just want protection. Also it is impossible for you to own an automatic firearm unless you use it for on duty service and you are a soldier
