Where is the best place to sell antique guns, like a Mortimer & Co. 8 gauge shotgun from the late 1700′s?

January 22nd, 2010 by eranio

I have heard gun shows are good but they won’t get me nearly what the Mortimer is worth. Anybody ever sold guns on gun broker.com? How long does it take to sell them there and is it pretty similar to eBay? I appreciate all the help, Thanks again.

You probably live near a gun range that has a bulletin board for classified ads. It’s free and just about every gun owner in town will see your ad. We all love to look – and then word-of-mouth spreads fast. You could also print little flyers and pass them out at a gun show – or any event where there are a lot of hunters and gun owners. Lastly – your local gun shop might agree to sell it on consignment – it doesnt cost anything to ask them.
