where to find mossberg with recoil barrel?

am i dreaming or didn’t mossberg make a bolt action shotgun with a recoil barrel?

Yes Mossberg did make a bolt action in 12 and 20ga, possibly other gauges. It was the model 185. I had a 185D in 20ga. There is one of these for sale now on GunBroker.com, current bid is 100 bucks. They were purpose built for shooting Geese and Ducks at extended ranges. Marlin made one also, i had one of those in 12ga with a 32inch barrel choked Full. I’m not sure what you mean buy recoil barrel. They may have made one with a muzzle brake, or are you asking if the barrel moved backward under recoil?

Never heard of a bolt action shotgun but Mossberg does make a youth model with a fluted recoil reducer on it. I bought one for 14 year old and it is a great gun.
