Which Benelli model is best used for both skeet shooting and home defense?

I noticed that Benelli has a lot of models to choose from. And i came to two choices, the M2 or M4. Am I looking at the wrong models for the wrong purposes? Help please.

Get 2 shotguns……
For skeet I suggest that nice Benelli shotgun…. I like Benellis for hunting, skeet, trap, etc…. They make a very fine shotgun….

For home defense only get a Mossberg 500… Don’t let the inexpensive price fool you….. These are exceptionable reliable and for home defense they are the best choice in my opinion….. Mossbergs are not fancy, are unpretentious and not exactly pretty… But they work!….

Its a Mossberg 500 catalog # 50577, 12 guage pump 8 shot 20 inch barrel…. Its a no nonsense get things done shotgun….. You could offer me any shotgun in the world to protect me and my family but the only one I would trust my life with is one of these!……

i think a super black eagle can handle about anything you ask of it in the field and at home, but the barrel lengths for the two purposes you desire, are on opposite ends of the spectrum. i prefer auto loading shotguns personally, for the lower recoil,plus remove the plug and you can hold down the fort with confidence, even if you are loaded to the gills with #5 turkey loads and a x-tra full choke, then after the night patrol is over, relieve those #5′s of their active duty,change that choke tube out with an improved cylinder style, and replace the plug, grab those field loads and head off to the range and bust some of those clays with authority. that’s what i think anyways.love those italian shotguns.check out the many ways that Tom Knapp uses a benelli shotgun on you tube. he can straight out lay it down with a pump or auto. it’s worth the time to see this man put on his shooting clinic.
