My model 1100 had some cycling problems when I used Federal target loads also.

try a different brand with a 3 dram equiv. and see how they cycle.

Also double check to make sure that your putting those rings back on the magazine tube correctly, I did that once…..ok twice ;)

when the ring on the brass of the shot shell is two wide the shell wont eject right. try using remmington ammo in ru remmington gun.

could be the ammo as suggested, try it if it doesn’t help check to make sure the gas port is clear, federal ammo sometimes doesn’t burn completely, and will block your gas port, thus causing poor ejection action

the two main reasons they jam are , not clean, by that, I don’t mean just a field clean I mean they have to be really detail cleaned. also, try replacing the little o ring sometimes they wear or crack and let’s gas blow by. As suggested, try another brand of ammo. Some guns just don’t like certain ammo.

This the reason I’m not a fan of Automatic Shotguns you must use expensive high brass ammunition or you run into cycling problems. Yes there are springs you can change out and on some guns adjustable tension. Buy a box of full power high brass shells and see if that solves the problem if so you know where you stand. High brass is a shell that has brass twice as long as the standard bird load shell and can be loaded to higher pressures than regular ones. If it cycles properly with the high power loads you know where to start.
